Neon Photo Grants
NEON RESEARCH GRANT FOR YOUNG JOURNALISTS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS 2008
NEON supports journalistic work with a yearly research grant for journalists and photographers
younger than 40 years. In difference to the existing journalists awards that reward finished stories,
the NEON research grant aimes at stories and ideas that have not yet been investigated/written/photographed, and
couldnt be realised without financial aid.
The grant for the five best ideas/stories is 10 000 Euro each.
THE PRIZE
The five best ideas will be funded with 10 000 Euro each. Enough money to pay research costs for a great journalistic story or
research and production costs for a fantastic photographic reportage. The usage of the money has to be verified with receipts.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Send in your Research-Exposé for a specific story by the 31st of August 2008.
